Inner Design had a very organic beginning in 1986, years before organics became popular. My belief was and still is that everything in life works better and easier when people engage their intuition into the decision-making process along with reason and logic. I was searching for a way to help people live fuller and richer lives by befriending and utilizing this ally we call intuition. Inner Design began with private consultations which provided me with a venue for using my intuitive skills to assist people in examining and problem solving issues and concerns.  Intution classes were offered at community and private colleges, in books stores, in private homes, and at other locations.  In addition companies and individuals hired me to educate and entertain guests at events with intuitive sessions.

In the beginning people wanting a consultation/ reading met with me in my downtown Portland, office. They askd many quesitions about people living and deceased.  People wanted my input regardingemplouees, hiring, firing,bidding on projects, career changes, relocating to another city or state, pets As people’s lives became busier and as my work took me to Los Angeles, Seattle, Wisconsin and Illinois, the telephone became a viable tool, and quickly became a convenient and practical way to converse with people.

Although email had not yet become an option for me, I was intrigued with the idea of using this practical wireless highway. One day while fumbling around on Google,I stumbled upon a horse website with many links to other horse and animal websites.  Through all this clicking and exploration, I happened upon horse newsletter that was written by a Bristish woman in England. I sent her an email asking if she would allow me to experiment,, and give her a consulation over the internet.  She emailed me some questions about her horse and I emailed her back with some information, and then wrote an summary article for her newsletter. Jenny offered my services in her newsletter and several others emailed me about their horses. It worked! Frankly I don’t know why I was surprised, because time and distance has no limitations, except for those that we have in our heads!

A few years later the tag line Applying Intuiton was added to Inner Design, because too many people have asked if I do interior design work. The work can perhaps be described as inner work that has wonderful outer manifestations as people make life choices that postively impact and influence their lives

The pet psychic/animal communication classes and consulations have always been a part of my work.  It is natural for people to ask about their belvoed animal friends as well as to inquire about family, friends and co-workers.  After 911, my work drastically changed.  Companies hosted fewer events and some of the party/event business dropped as did the number of clients who wanted a consultation.  It was a client and a former student who suggested that I work with people and their pets. (Today I might say it is assisting pets with their people!) The pet business is endless and bottomless with seemingly deep pocts of endless possibilities.  Pets are becoming more popular, and there seems to be a correlation between who much we adore and depend upon them as our world seems to spin out of control.  Above all, these feathery, furry and reptilian freinds are seldom boring and have much to teach us about ourselves.  This may be one reason why there are so many animal lovers among us.
